How to add a book
Each entry is a heading, a citation and an annotation. To add another, click in the heading, open the List View (the stacked-lines icon at the top left), select the three blocks, click the three dots and choose Duplicate. Aim for three or more on each page. An image such as a cover is welcome but not required. Delete this note when the page is done.
A sentence or two about what kind of books these are and who they suit.
The Sibley Guide to Birds (worked example: replace with your own)
Citation: Sibley, David Allen. The Sibley Guide to Birds. 2nd ed., Alfred A. Knopf, 2014.
Annotation: A field guide to the birds of North America, with the author’s own paintings and range maps for more than 900 species. Sibley is one of the most widely used guides among birders, and this second edition updates the 2000 original. Beginners will use it to identify what they see, and the opening pages on how to look at a bird are a good first read.
Title of the book
Citation: Paste the MLA citation here. The Langara Library citing guide (opens in a new tab) shows the format.
Annotation: Three to five sentences in your own words: what the resource is about, why it is trustworthy, and why you included it.
